What is meguro ward?

Meguro Ward (目黒区) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. It is located in the southern part of the metropolis and covers an area of approximately 14.67 square kilometers. As of April 2021, the ward had a population of around 280,000 people.

The ward is known for its upscale residential neighborhoods, high-end shopping and dining areas, and numerous parks and green spaces. The Meguro River, which flows through the ward, is a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing in the spring.

The ward is also home to several prestigious universities, including the Tokyo Institute of Technology and the University of Electro-Communications.

Some of the popular attractions in Meguro Ward include the Meguro Sky Garden, the Sugekari Park Baseball Ground, and the Meguro Parasitological Museum. The ward also hosts several annual festivals, including the Meguro Sanma Matsuri (Autumn Festival) and the Meguro River Cherry Blossom Festival.
